- For links to my other blogs, click on 'view my complete profile'. Married to Valerie, we have a daughter and a son and 2 grand-daughters. I was brought up on a farm near York and worked in farming and allied industries until 1970 when Valerie and I spent 2 years at Bible College before going out to Argentina as agricultural missionaries. In 1980 we returned to the U.K. when I worked part-time at Bicton Agricultural College until ordination to full-time parish work in 1988. To get some idea of my background, the town of Dawlish was the largest place I have ever lived! . . . .
